IT’S TIME TO HOP IN THE BEACH BRACES PHOTO BOOTH! We know how much fun our patients have taking a selfie to show off their brand new smile, so we decided to step things up a notch.

Throughout December, when you come to our office, you’ll have a chance to take a fun photo in our photo booth! Fully stocked with fun props and social signs, you’ll be able to get the perfect shot to share with your friends and family.

During your next visit to our Manhattan Beach office, not only will you get to take a fun photo in the photo booth, but you will be entered to win a prize!

Taking Braces Off for a Decade – Dr. Panucci and Beach Braces

Patient lends talent in video heralding Beach Braces’ 10th year in business

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 24 July 2015

On August 10, Dr. Patricia J. Panucci will mark the 10th anniversary of the day she realized her childhood dream and officially opened her Manhattan Beach-based practice, Beach Braces. At that time, city leaders, the Beach Braces staff and several members of the local dental community celebrated the fledgling business with a ribbon cutting ceremony and best wishes for a successful future.

Since that day Dr. Panucci has provided new smiles to nearly 4,000 patients, including 12-year-old Leah H., who recently lent her vocal talents to an animated video Dr. Panucci created as a fun way to celebrate the practice’s first decade in business.

The video, aptly titled “Braces Off,” is the result of a collaboration that initially consisted of Dr. Panucci and her husband, who started by re-writing the lyrics of the number one hit single by pop sensation Taylor Swift titled “Shake It Off.” Once the lyrics were completed, Dr. Panucci called upon the Seattle-based creative agency J. Media Inc. to create the animation and incorporate the new lyrics into the production. Leah, who still had her braces on at the time of her recording session at Dr. Panucci’s makeshift studio in the Beach Braces consultation room, is now all smiles after having her own braces off about a month later. Leah is not the only star of the production, however; watch and listen closely and you’ll see how Dr. Panucci also gets in on the act, debuting her original rap regarding Gummy Bears.


On a serious note, Dr. Panucci extends her thanks to the families she’s served over the last decade, as well as the entire South Bay community for their continued support of her practice. Dr. Panucci always says everyone should love to smile, and she and her team are looking forward to many more years of helping patients put their best smile forward.

In addition to expressing gratitude to her patients and her community, Dr. Panucci wishes to offer a special thanks to Taylor Swift for inspiring the creation of the video – she and her patients are big fans!

It’s really easy to enter and you stand the chance of winning an iPad mini!

Take your ‘Dr P’ cut out and take the best photo you can, the more unique the better.

Then simply visit the Beach Braces Facebook Photo Contest App and then click on the small icon in top right named ‘Photo Contest’ (indicated with a big red arrow in the graphic below). If you’re not a fan already, you will have to ‘like’ the page first.

From there, submit your photo together with a great caption and get your friends and family to vote for you. The photo with the most votes wins!

If you are going on a road trip, vacation, a football game, a hockey game, an art show, abroad or simply working on a school project, take “Dr. P” with you and capture that special moment!! Patients under 18, please make sure you have your parent’s permission before entering this contest.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Overall contest begins: February 1st 2013
  • Overall contest ends: December 19th 2013
  • Contest will be split up into 3 rounds (Feb. 1st – April 30th,  May 1st – Aug. 30th  & Sept.1st – Dec. 19th). One winner will be selected by having the most ‘votes’ on Facebook, so be creative!! A patient can only submit 1 photo per trimester
