Did You Know No. 10: What Do You Know about Fire Chiefs?

The Fire Chief is a notorious drink served by Old Tony’s in the South Bay (Redondo Beach Pier). The drink’s name was coined as the bartender used to light the concoction before serving it to the customers. However, the Redondo Beach Fire Department had ended this practice a few years ago. Even without the Fire Chief though, Old Tony’s continued to serve delicious dishes and powerful concoctions to their customers. Since Old Tony’s is a great place for a romantic seaside dinning, more and more tourists are visiting this place not only to eat but also to relax and watch breath-taking views.

Aside from its strategic geographical location, Old Tony’s also sees to it that they are delivering the best services in order to make better customer experiences. The staffs are very friendly and courteous as they greet each customer that enters and leaves the establishment. Old Tony’s provides weekly live entertainment around 7pm up to 11pm every day.

Little History of Old Tony’s

Being a family owned and operated restaurant, Old Tony’s features a large selection of seafood daily. They are also known for their Mai Tai’s as the customers are able to keep their glass. Old Tony’s has been around for decades but it was originally opened in a small shack of a building which was later on expanded in 1961. Tony added sliding windows in which they open in order to feed the birds and the customers instantly fell in love with this. In 1963, Tony expanded the business by adding a bar at the top of the restaurant.
